· Using reading strategies appropriately and automatically when encountering unknown words

· Increasing vocabulary through sentence writing

Fourth Grade English Language Arts

· Writing process: Six Traits- Organization & Voice

· Pronouns & Adverbs

· Editing: Conferencing with teacher

· Descriptive narratives

Fourth Grade Math

· Fractions: model, name, mixed, compare, order, locate on a number line, add and subtract common and uncommon denominators

· Memorization of multiplication facts

6^th Grade Math (30 min sessions)

· Monitoring & creating exercises in Accelerated Math, using RIT scores and Des Cartes to meet individual student needs

· Assist students as needed

6^th Grade Reading and Writing (2 forty minute sessions)

· Support Mrs. Ward with writing assignments in 6-trait writing/ writing process (Expository)

6^th Grade Science

· Earth Science: Climate and Weather

· Space and Technology: Earth, Sun, and Moon

· Space Technology: The Universe
