Mr. Trotter’s Board Report 5-4-09

Hard to believe it is May and school is winding down to a close. No one is sure of the consequences of the Swine Flu threat. Most here hope that school will not be cancelled and that activities can resume to normal throughout the State.

Our Lady Panthers were District Track Champions once again despite the absence of some very key ladies who were out with flu and otherwise. The remaining athletes really stepped up to the task and season best performances were achieved by most. Jaci Hatch and Dawna Walter tied for High Point individual girl with 25.5 points each at the District Track Meet. Our track girls are collectively qualified for the State Track Meet, should it be held, in the following events:

100 meter dash Javelin

200 meter dash State Track was scheduled for May 8&9 but recent

100 hurdles events may cause changes to the schedule.

300 hurdles

4x100 relay

4x200 relay

High jump

Long jump

Triple jump
