APRIL/MAY BOARD REPORT

Co-op Class –Just finished job packets and interviews. I would like to thank Mrs. Rudiger, Mr. Aguallo, and Mr. Birdwell for taking time out of their busy schedules to interview these students for me. I truly believe this better prepares students to go out into the job market and succeed. Review for senior semester exams. They will be done next week.

Health – We are deeply involved in sex education. They are learning choices, consequences, and how to protect themselves from the many emotional and physical effects of sex. We also learn how to be assertive and use refusal skills when making these choices. The TEEN FAIR in town was a great success and the students talked a lot about it after they got back----- definitely worth taking them to town to participate. We will wrap up the semester with First Aide unit.

GIRLS BASKETBALL – We are getting ready to attend summer camps again. We will go to three team camps in the month of June. The gym and weight room will be open all summer for students to use. Athletic Awards will be May 18^th at 6:00. This will included both basketball and track.
