I have been a proud member of the teaching staff
of the
Animas
Public
School District
for the past 18 years.
Over the years I have had the honor of teaching some of the best kids on
the planet mathematics, literacy, and numeracy. I have also coached many a game either volleyball
or basketball, directed many plays and musicals for the high school and
middle school drama programs, and played host to numerous student activities.
I am the proud mother of four wonderful children Kayla, Stacie, and Kelsey
Shelton and Trace Jackson. I have three wonderful step children Jessica, Tim and Troy
Jackson of Pima, AZ. The kids are active members of 4-H which keeps
the family very busy.
I am a graduate of

High School
, received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from
Western
New Mexico
University
in 1987 and obtained
my Masters degree from
Grand
Canyon
University
in 1996. |
