History:

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, attended grade school in Magnolia, Texas. Headed for Animas, New Mexico with Mom and Step dad, and played for the Animas Panthers.  Graduated in 1989 but actually left school in December of 1988, Joined the Navy and trained to be an Aviation Electronics Technician.  He was stationed in Dallas where he met his wife Keri. After a year and half of marriage, Cole was born September 22, 1992. Shane then went to College with Keri at Western New Mexico University in 1993.  Three years later he graduated with a double major in special education and elementary education. His first job was working on an Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona called Whiteriver. On February 20, 1998 their daughter Ashley was born.  The family moved to Animas in 2000. Shane is now working on a Master's in administration and Keri is working on her Teaching degree. They both work at Animas Public Schools and couldn't be any happier.
