History:
On November 7, 1962, Miss Tracey Johnson
was born.
She was born in Douglas, Arizona, and brought
'home'
to Animas, New Mexico, where she was raised
her
whole life. In 1980, Tracey graduated
from
Animas High School. She then went on
to college
at Western New Mexico University on a scholarship.
While she was attending college, she also
played on the University Basketball Team.
There she earned her BA in Education.
She graduated in 1984.
In July of 1987, Tracey Johnson married
Bryan Jackson. Bryan is a lineman for
Columbus Electric.
Together, they have two wonderful boys,
Cole Keith Jackson, attending ENMU on a rodeo scholarship and Casey Ray is attending NMSU. They also have one granddaughter Miss Kaylee Gay Jackson.
Tracey Jackson has been a teacher
at Animas Public Schools for seventeen years.
She teaches a variety of classes including
Physical Education, Health, Driver's Education,
and Business Math. She is also head coach for
High School Girl's Basketball.
