We need your help! If you have any embarrassing stories we would like to use them for next month's magazine. If you are really embarrassed then we will not tell everyone who you are! Just talk to Elizabeth and Kayla =)! Thanks!
Ok. So one day, I was on my way to Duncan for a meeting and I was texting a boy that I used to like. Of course I still think he's a hottie, so I was trying not to sound like an idiot. Well, the night before, I had had a dream about him. In my dream we were at a basketball game in front of everyone and we started making out. So, I thought it would be okay to tell him about my dream through text because he didn't live anywhere close and I thought I wouldn't see him in a while, so maybe he would just forget about it. When I got to the meeting, I walked in and guess who was sitting RIGHT THERE?! He was! I almost died! He laughed when he saw me and waved really big but I was so embarrassed that I sort of did a half wave, ducked my head, and hurried to a seat clear across the room. I'm NEVER telling people when I dream about them again!
So I was crushing on this girl, big time. Lets call her...Kate. She invited me to go hang out with her and some friends one day, so I was stoked! I got there, feeling pumped and confident. They decided to watch a movie, and I knew this was my chance. I made sure that I sat by Kate so I would have a chance to make a move. During the movie I was playing mind games with myself trying to find the right moment to reach over and grab her hand. Finally, my moment came, and before I knew it, we were holding hands! SCORE! Well, this is where my story gets a little tricky. In walks Kate's boyfriend, only I didn't know that little detail. So here I am, holding Kate's hand with Kate's boyfriend in the room and I have no idea. Kate didn't let on either. Naturally, her boyfriend walks over, sits on the other side of Kate, and grabs her hand. (He didn't see that I was already holding her other hand.) What an awkward moment. I realized that it was absolutely ridiculous, so I went outside for a while. When I came back in, I sat on the other side of the room, completely embarrassed. The worst part was that everyone in the room knew what was going on before I even realized it.
So I was at the Cliff Fair one year when I saw a guy I knew. He wasn't from there, and I was actually really surprised to see him. Let me give you some history. First of all, lets call the guy Tom. So, Tom and I knew each other a little while before the fair, a few months actually. We had hung out one time and I really liked him. He said he liked me too and we sort of had a thing. Well, I hadn't talked to him in a while, so when I saw him at the fair I was a little nervous to confront him. While my friends and I were by the arena, he happened to walk up to the concession stand (which was right by us) and I knew this was my chance. I walked over there with my spirits high because I was hoping that maybe he would want to pick up where we left off last time. I decided to start flirting right off, so I went up behind him and covered his eyes. He laughed and said he didn't know who it was, so I uncovered his eyes. He turned around and instantly there was a confused look on his face. I tried to smile, confidence fading fast, and I said, "Hey, do you remember me?" He looked even more confused, trying to rack his brain for a memory of the girl standing in front of him, and nothing came. "Uh, sorry, who are you again?" was his reply. I wanted to burry myself right then and there. I tried to act casual about it and laugh it off, didn't work. I told him who I was and then he remembered me, kind of. He tried to make an excuse by saying, "You were blonde last time I saw you. That's why I didn't recognize you." But I was still so embarrassed. To make things worse, my friends were laughing at me!
