Mrs. Vowell

I went to see this movie because Jaime R. told me it was good. I didn't know what to expect...a documentary or a story. It is a story, pretty well told, with some significant actors. But, the thing that stole the show was the special effects. Once they get going, which is after a rather slow start, they take you on a roller-coaster of eye and ear candy that keeps you breathless for about two hours. Can't tell you too much, but if you ever wondered what would happen if a huge city was utterly destroyed while you watched, then this movie shows you! It is phenomenal. Even without sound and a story, I would watch it ten more times!

Ninja Assassin Review (Rated R)
By: Zaranda L. Hicks

Ninja Assassin was one of the best action movies I have ever seen. The graphics were amazing, they didn’t look fake, as some action movies do. Director James McTeigue captures the essence and the point of this movie. Raizo played by Rain / Yoon Sungwoong (as Young Raizo) / Joon Lee (as Teenage Raizo) all did amazing jobs in these parts, which was both difficult and very emotional. Mika played by Naomie Harris is one of my favorite actresses and I think she excelled in this role. The movie is about a Ninja that turns on his orphanage, because of his morals. Raizo has to fight one of his fellow brothers from the orphanage. There was a lot of cutting people in half. And then a Ninja from the orphanage cut a guy's head in half and then another man's head completely off. The graphics were realistic (although I have never seen a head cut in half).

I recommend that everyone sees this movie.

New Moon Review (Rated PG-13)
By: Zaranda L. Hicks

New Moon is by far way better then Twilight, in my opinion. I think it had something to do with the director change up. In this movie they followed the book a little better than they did in Twilight. Dakota Fanning was a great catch for this movie, and she probably boosted the ratings, she did a commendable job in her role. This movie is getting a lot of negative talk and I just want to say I loved this movie and I cannot wait for Eclipse to come out. At the end, this movie left me on the edge of my set. I enjoyed this movie immensely, and I recommend this movie to everyone.

The Blind Side Movie Review- Joli

On November 20th, I watched a new movie featuring Sandra Bullock and Quinton Aaron called ‘The Blind Side.’ Personally I give this movie 5 stars, it was amazing. This movie took a real life adventure and made it bigger than life. Michael Oher started off as a kid on the street that just moved in with whoever he could that day. But, soon he was discovered and became a starting offensive player for the Baltimore Ravens.

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves sports, loves family, and enjoys a good, sad, funny type of movie. I would go and watch this movie again and again if I could! Definitely now a personal favorite movie
