Hurray!
The 09-10 school year is over halfway done. The Journalism/ Yearbook staff is working to cover important news and events in an online fashion this year. Stay tuned for constant updates and e-zine issues coming out almost every month.
Animas
Mid/High School is located in Animas, NM, in the extreme southwest corner
of the state. Presently, there are about 240 students in the district (Pre-K
through 12). Although they live in an isolated area, students have access
to some of the best technology in the state, on-site and online courses, and
concurrent enrollment for college credit. Each student 7-12 has a personal
laptop provided by the school. With sports, activities, organizations, and
academic work, students stay busy and successful.Dates to Note!

Keep
in mind that journalism students will be taking pictures of students and events.
Remember to "ignore" the camera so the photographer can get candid
shots! "Posed" pictures are never quite as good as those that catch
you in the act of just doing what you do best-laughing, yelling, studying,
talking, eating, or even sleeping!
