Tammy recieved her BS in Hospitality and Tourism Services with a Minor in Business Administration from NMSU in 1993. She is currently working towards obtaining alternative licensure in Secondary Ed online from Santa Fe Community College. She says she is thoroughly enjoying teaching at the high school.
On a personal note, Tammy and her husband Mike have been married for 18 years and have two children, Dallas and Troy. They are partners in a family farming operation. Their kids are very active in 4-H and Tammy is the organizational leader for the club. When they're not busy with school, show animals and various other 4-H projects keep the whole family busy.
